  Space Exploration

As we move forward and lessen spending on war so as to disempower this repetitive cycle of death and destruction that mankind is so ready to ceaselessly replicate generation after generation, century after century, millennium after millennium.   What do we do next?   What will weapons manufacturers and government bureaucrats and economists do to stimulate the economy if we take weapons production and war away from them?  What will they do with themselves?    We need to divert these funds and the intellectual energy that is wasted on trying to dominate, blow up, and control mother earth and expand the much more productive further reaching good of exploring and populating the cosmos.  This may be the place to put all of that extra water that our friend Al Gore keeps telling us about. It would be a better use of these monies and intellect than killing people and causing destruction.  What we put money and resources into will grow and flourish.  If we curtail spending on war, it will be less prevalent.  The same economic benefits from spending on war will be realized through spending on space exploration and the weapons manufacturers can still have all of the lucrative contracts that they now enjoy.   As mentioned previously in this essay, it will be necessary to embrace and nurture all of our societal elements; the religions of the planet, the food, the languages, the culture, the ethnic identities.  We will need it there.  We will need all of these elements as we explore, populate and inhabit the cosmos.  As we populate this vast space our humanity is not lost but on the contrary is there to support us as we grow peacefully together and enjoy it as one human race.   Even the French.  Yes, despite their deplorable soccer behavior and their abhorrent politicians they too are welcome - luckily for them they are saved through their fine wine, delicious food and beautiful woman.  They must come to the cosmos with us.  What would we do without their annoyance?  We would miss it terribly.
