"As long as I hear truth I am bathed by a beautiful element and am not conscious of any limits to my nature.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

John M. Finan, Real Estate Entrepreneur and Activist, CEO NYCRealtyDotCom Inc. and President / CEO NYCCG (New York City Consulting Group), is in the running as a candidate seeking the nomination of The Libertarian Party for the 2008 Presidential race.   Finan, owner of the original Grammercy Park Bar where the likes of Frank Sinatra, Mick Jagger, Carey Grant, Billy Joel, and Uma Thurman have hung their hats states that it is time for " A Fresh Deal for America and The American People".   In addition to his real estate activity,  Finan, the official "Last Guest" at The Plaza Hotel, has used his and his companies resources in helping save 600 jobs at The Plaza Hotel and mounted a Philanthropic effort to save as much of this historic American hotel as possible.  Finan has also used his and his company’s resources with the help of co-workers and U-Haul Co, to orchestrate and personally deliver over 80,000 home made lunches with notes from the children of surrounding school districts to the rescue workers to the base of the catastrophic wreckage at Ground Zero Sept 13, 14, 15th immediately after the catastrophe..
A resident of New York City for 20 years, Finan has been able to see up close what the city and the country has undergone through the various transitions and iterations of government that we have undergone in the various administrations.  Living in walking distance to the United Nations has also fostered an acute awareness of the international pulse and feelings of the international community regarding our country.  "It is shocking how many people and countries there are out there that harbor deep hatred towards our nation.  We have a major identity crisis in the international community and a real Public Relations crisis on our hands." states Finan.   In the words of Andy Warhol, “Things change with time, but sometimes you have to change".
